Hallway & Stairway Behavior
I can be respectful in the hallway and stairway when:
I walk quietly and with purpose.
I stay on the right side of the hallway or stairway.
I look, but not touch, work on the walls
I can be safe to enter hallways and stairways when:
I face forward when I’m in line and keep a safe distance from others.
I can keep my hands, feet and objects to myself.
I hold the handrail with one hand, and walk one step at a time
I can be responsible in the hallway and stairway when:
I keep the hallways and stairways neat and clean.
I watch, listen and follow directions the first time.
I follow the rules when I am with my class or by myself.
Classroom Behavior
I can be respectful in the classroom when:
I follow the teacher’s directions the first time.
I raise my hand to answer a question.
I work quietly at centers, in groups or when working alone.
I treat everyone with kindness.
I can be safe in the classroom when:
I move carefully around the room.
I handle my work materials with care.
I can keep my hands, feet and objects to myself.
I can be responsible in the classroom when:
I bring my homework in every day.
I do the right thing even when others are not.
I work carefully and neatly, not just quickly.
Bathroom Behavior
I can be respectful in the bathroom when:
I give others their privacy.
I keep the bathroom clean.

I walk quietly to the hallway.
I wait my turn patiently.
I keep my hands and feet to myself.

I remember to flush the toilet.
